Quick question to someone who may have intimate knowledge. I picked up some S1 body parts, tail, windscreen, front fender, that were all fiberglass. I was told fiberglass was used on earlier models. My 98s are all ABS plastic body parts. I spoke to another guy in Europe who has a 96 and 97 S1 and he says his are all plastic. So that begs the question, are the fiberglass body parts aftermarket or were there factory fiberglass parts? | ||

My 97 is all fiberglass, no reason to believe any of it is aftermarket. | ||

96 were the only S1 bikes with fiberglass Bodywork from the factory. | ||
