Is there a stainless alternative? I know the benefits of cast iron and steel and their coefficients of friction, but this is getting old.....

So I would need the disc rotor as well as the carrier, to bolt to my Marchesini hub as an assembly, correct?

The newer rotor is a one piece assembly. Not sure you can remove the rotor from the carrier.

And you’ll need the newer rotor bolts that are button head. The newer rotors are not countersunk.

The case iron does rust but it is good brake. My humble opinion better than stainless.
