It's been 10 years since I've played with a Buell and have forgotten almost everything I knew ( which isn't all that much LOL)
I strongly dislike the twin seat on my M2 and have considered chopping the tail.
Can't remember what was said about swapping tail sections\seats between an M2 and S1 and cannot find the thread.
Anybody know where it is? My vision went blurry digging through archives last night.

Here's two to get you started...
I do remember one thread where soneone posted a picture with the actual measurements and angles, if you were planning on making your own subframe. I think easiest, if you can find one... is cutting the tail off of an S1 and welding it straight into yours.
I think I remember Joesbuell had a giant long thread with a ton of pictures of his build, an S3 covered to S1/XB hydrid. Im sure that would have good information in it, but maybe soneone else knows where that one is.

Actually, not sure. Here is his build, but skimming through it, I don't see anything about him modifying the subframe, just saw pictures of the long tail, then pictures of it as a short tail. Look through, maybe I missed it.

The early M2 tail unit is much slimmer and requires no cutting, straight swap....

Thanks fellas. Much appreciated.
Now comes the hard part...swap for S1 stuff or just hack and bob it. Decisions decisions...
