Rode the bike to work today and 3/4 of the way there I realized that the speedo and turn signals weren't working. Worried it could be an issue which would cause the bike to stall and then not run I took the street the rest of the way.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If the bike is running fine and you have good throttle response, keep going. The things you mention are on the accessory 'branch' of the harness, separate from ignition.

Years ago, had a similar issue with my '01, with the issue being intermittent. If your fuses are all good, check the portion of the harness that runs over the top of the oil tank and goes to the turn signal flasher and rear brake light switch. On my bike, the harness made a sharp turn around a bolt. Vibration had caused an intermittent, which went away when I rerouted the harness to eliminate the sharp bend.

Hope this helps, Dave

Agree with Akbuell. Almost all of the electrical issues on my M2 were from worn insulation on wires. If you have a manual, check the electrical diagram in the back and trace out the wires. I've used that extensively and it's a must-have document.

Good luck!

Thanks, found a own fuse. No indication why it blew. I may replace it with a breaker
