I'd have to agree. I had one of those back in the day. Never used it - because it would've covered some of the tips of the flames on my tank cover - and ended up selling it on eBay years ago.

I eventually put a factory tank bra on it - that I got for stupid cheap in Daytona - which also covered up some of the tips of the flames on my tank cover...

Now that Bra is on up-date seat to fit in





Used 75 ohm cable slit jacketing to slide-over red tubing & glue-on on seat. Painted Lightning bolts on seat White.

Good idea with the jacketing! I wish I had bought the carbon cover now, that looks great! I was also watching it for months on and off of eBay. How did you attach it?

& I didn't look on ebay S2 parts 4 a yr but seen it 2 wks. ago & couldn't live without it.Also never liked Buell bra didn' fit good at all.

Buell never offered any carbon fiber tank covers only vinyl ones.

I had a complete carbon fiber S2 but it was not a production ru . . just a set made for ad in a catalog that never gained traction.
