I’m a little confused by the service manual. Is there a third spacer that goes between the speedo drive and the lock washer on the left side? When I removed my front (see roached front wheel post), I’m only seeing two spacers (one on each side) and the speedo drive.

Here’s a pic of the manual with the questionable spacer highlighted. Thanks!

Yes that is exactly how to re assemble.Parts book is handy too assemble too.

Look around you must have all spacers and maybe you or another person left out.

It might still be in you speedo drive

I appreciate the quick responses. I’ll look to see if it’s in the speedo drive. I have a (bad) feeling that, based on the shape of the rim when I removed it, the previous owner didn’t put it back together correctly.

If that’s the case, are the spacers available or are they unobtainium?
