I found this pic way back in the 2007 archive... Im wondering about this mounting situation here. can this be applied to all tube frames? because i dont think i have any mounting points like this one does.

does anyone have any more info on how this is mounted?

You can't *easily* come up with a mount like that for an S1 frame, but you could have someone weld a mount to the front of your frame and then bolt something like that to it. You'd need to pull off your headlight, and probably move some of the wires out of the way, and disconnect your battery. I'd also pull off my gas tank, just to not have gasoline near flying sparks.

This isn't the best picture, but look at the part colored green on the front of that frame. You need something similar to that, whether you find some round steel tube and weld two inch long pieces to the front of your frame horizontally, or get one longer steel bar, have that welded on, and drill two holes horizontally. Either way you just need to get those two mounting holes on the front of your frame so you have something to work with.
