Did some searching through old threads and see people talking about using the xb rear brake lines and switch on their tubers, but several had switched calipers and master cylinders. Anybody have and good pics of how the pressure switch is connected in line using the stock caliper and master cylinder? seems from all the sitting, my real line is clogged solid and I can't get it cleaned out, so might as well upgrade. Guess I'll have to pull the tail section off as well as the oil tank to get to the original line.

Are you looking for pictures of the stock im le switch, or pictures of how to install a switch with the xb line?

I still have the old line on my bike but have an 1125 line and a new pressure switch for it in the garage I can try to get you pictures of either setup.

looking for the new setup. Only stock rear line setup I can find to buy is used, and not a fan of putting used brake lines in. Found the new line with the switch at St Paul HD/Buell. Just wondering how the routing would be with that.

I'm down to replace the crappy steel/bulky rubber line for something more modern and braided. Saw where you posted about this site on other posts. Guess I need to take some measurements, figure what size banjo's and brake switch fittings I need and place an order.

Did some google foo action and found HEL makes a stainless brake line kit for front or rear for the tubers. It's like the xb deal where I will need to get the inline brake switch/banjo bolt. Easy enough, already found where I can get the xb switch or the M10x1.25 switches elsewhere.

FYI, the HEL line is 32.25" (810mm) from center to center, has a 45 banjo on the caliper end and a 70 banjo on the master end. Called them up and the dude gave me a much better price than the online price. It comes in different color coverings too.

Sorry, I dropped the ball on this one. Had some stuff going on Thursday/Friday and hadn't made it back onto the forum. Unfortunately can't get you pictures of the new line routing since the old line is still currently on my bike. I did mess with it a little to figure out the positioning after I replaced my swingarm, before I put the old parts back on, and the routing was pretty much the same. The line needed to go up and over the drive belt, then down under the left bottom mount for the oil tank, then under the hugger. It needed about a 45 degree bend on the caliper side, and needed a pretty decent bend on the master cylinder side to get up and over the belt. The line I picked up was "new", listed as a new bike take off from an 1125, but if you ask me it looks a little rough to have come off of a brand new bike. Either way, length was good, I just had to bend the MC fitting a little so it'll fit. Clamped the banjo in the vice, heated it just a little so I didn't melt anything important, and it bent nice and easy.

You're definitely better off going with a pressure switch banjo bolt. The inline filters seem to make bleeding the brakes a little bit of a hassle. I installed one of the banjo bolts on a supermoto I used to have and it was very easy to do. You'll just have to put new blade ends on the wires so they fit into the plugs on the wiring harness. I think the ones I used last time were from Baja Designs, but you can get them plenty of places. I just picked my new one up off of ebay for a few dollars.
