Is there an easy way to reset ignition timing to factory default? I dialed back the ignition timing where it was but it might have been altered by previous owner.
Is ignition timing the same for S2 and other tubers if they are equipped with the same ignition module? (here I am taking about pickup plate)

Just a random tip when it comes to carbs and compressed air. Always try to shoot the air in the opposite direction that the gas usually flows, if possible. If something did get wedged in there, it's possible hitting it with compressed air might just wedge something in further. If you shoot air the opposite way you might have better luck popping it back out the way it got in.

I would recommend checking out this guy's instructional vids, I think if you follow his procedure for teardown and rebuild and get the jetting sorted as already recommended here, your bike will be running better than new.

Also, while you have it apart, I would strongly recommend a new accelerator pump diaphragm. This shit gas we're forced to run raises hell with them and if it's not leaking it will be soon.
