At one time there was a cross reference from buell to Harley P\Ns for the tubers, I tried searching, but for some reason I'm stuck on stupid and can't find it. Can someone throw me a bone?

Specifically, looking for a stator and rectifier, but would really like to have the whole list.

Ya, that might help. I finally figured out my stator was bad and am picking the new one up tomorrow. It would be nice to have a part number instead of talking to some of the LESS than informed parts people. Not all, but my conversation went.

Me: I need a stator for a Buell 02' M2.

Him: We don't sell Buell's

Me: Same Part as any 02' 1200 Sportster engine.

Him: You said you were looking for a Buell Parts.

Me: Fine, just get me a 02' sportster stator. And can I have the part number?

Him: It's a Harley number, not a Buell P/N.

Me: Nevermind, I'll call someone else.

Thanks Lance.

I ended up going to an independent shop that ordered me one up.

It's been a few years since I was active on this board, trying to figure out where everything is now.

Speaking of, my 02 X1 is leaking oil from around the wires from the stator I believe. I need to jump into this before the weather breaks. Any hints or tricks to fixing this. Oh and NO i'm not going to goop a ton of silicone all over it.
Please and thank you.

Take off primary and remove that plug, goop it up and re-install.

Goop on the inside is better than goop on the outside. Be sure to select a high quality goop with long term goopiness.

I recommend...Goop.
