Hi, the question of the week is : can i mount on my '97 s3 pro series header a muffler from x1 pro series kit ? since i cannot found a muffler for my header ...

I would certainly try to put a X1 pro muffler on a 97 Pro header. Only catch may be the rear mount - the "straps" may not be the right length to let it hang. If not, measure what you need and get a local machine shop to whip up two straps for you.

I just bought me a 2000 M2 last week and i love it. I have the Kooks exhaust on it, and X1 heads plus many many other engine upgrades. I have road the xb9 and the xb12 but I love my M2 by far. Anyone who knows anything about Buell knows that they are not built for top end. With a few modifications like the ones i have, you can have you one tourqed out bike.

The stock 2000 M2 heads are the same as the X1 heads. Evertyhing between 1998 and 2002 had Thunderstorm heads.
