I am doing a frame up restoration of my 99 ST3 Thunderbolt. I will need a new rear shock and I have already rebuilt two separate stock shocks and don't want to do that again. What cost effective solution do I have? I don't race it but it does help the ride a lot when it's fresh.
Thanks, I'll need lots of other stuff too...

Twin motorcycles has a nice option that is half the cost aprox of the works etc. a few have been running them and I have heard nothing bad about them

Thanks for the link. I see that it's 500 Euros and comes from Netherlands which is about $600 right now plus the shipping here to Florida at approximately $80-120 and the chance of getting taxed as it arrives, all will keep me searching here before I jump right on that one.
I do visit NL every couple of years and will keep it in mind for my next visit or if an easier option doesn't come up...

They used to have a US partner that could ship from the US. I donít remember what it was. 5-0dro maybe?

5-0dro it was. Nice shocks for the money and value but to keep the lifetime warranty you have to send it back for maintenance every 2 yrs. Meaning down time for the bike unless you have another shock laying around. Not sure what turn around time would be. Took me 3 weeks just to get a tank cover for the X1 thru 5-0dro.
