After a 2, 2.5 year hiatus, I'm getting another S2. Picking it up Monday in Salt Lake City. This time it's JVV's old bike. Been wanting another one for a while but just never came up, and I kinda ignored the urge when I got the EBR lol. This S2 will likely sit for a little while until I finish the winter mods on the EBR and decide exactly which direction I want to go with the S2. Definitely planning on an S2T conversion, and some stuff close to the chest, but still lots of options to think about. (Message edited by phelan on December 13, 2017) | ||

Glad it's getting a good home. Jack was on his HD when I last rode with him (he embarrassed the rest of us with his cornering ability, even on a big bagger) so I didn't get to see the S2 in person, but based on how he cared for the HD, I'll bet the S2 is a real gem. | ||

Glad this went to a good home, Ross. I remember his eBay ad back around June 2016, beautiful bike with all the goodies! Is this number 1087, and he had the signature series documentation for it too, right? | ||

Nice, but doesn't it already look like a -T? Or did it get de-T'd at some point? I'm partial to the red with white...same as my #1365. Beautiful ride, enjoy! | ||

That bike is probably one of the nicest decked out S2s there is - and unless the parts were stripped off, it has S3 bags and lowers (and a WHOLE LOT of other goodies). Congrats. | ||

It does have S3 bags, no lowers that I saw. The bike isn't sold, to my knowledge, with the slew of extra pipes, lowers, etc etc, but I'm not complaining at the price point. I actually don't like the way the S3 bags sit compared to the stock bags. I still plan to use them at this point, but I will probably make "modifications" to put them back in the stock location. As much as I like Jack and appreciate what he did with the bike, I do still have my own agenda for the machine. My wife says the EBR is too loud and she won't ride with me on it, so the S2 will be the 2-up machine. | ||

If you are going to repaint I could use the fairing - I have other S2 Fairings to swap... And Red and White are the fastest colors. Just Sayin... | ||

I always liked the looks of red and white too. Almost as nice as white alone. |
