Can a S1W tank be fitted on a X1?
Modifications needed right? Was thinking about an aluminum one..
These are just custom covers?

Looks a little like mine. Yes, just a cover. I bought mine thru 5-Odro who closed up. He was an importer for Twin motorcycles in the UK. You can see them on the website but they get them from "Franks" might be able to look up franks buell parts. All together it was around $310 to ship it. They make both as you can see with and without the air vents.

Wow I never noticed it on yours because the sticker makes it look stock. Thanks for the info. I found it http://shop.frank-parts.de/product_info.php/produc ts_id/127
I always thought it was a s1w tank on x1 builds.

Looks great!

I saw yesterday that Twin Motorcycles announced some changes to shipping fees that may make purchasing more affordable.

Holy crap! I didn't know such a thing existed. Thought the only recourse was fitting those little trim panels.

I'd like to get one of those short tail conversions. The wife and daughter prefer to ride pass on the Bourget (a little slower).

Yeah it's been on my wish list for a while.
There have been a lot of aluminum bikeexif builds lately and man I'd love to get a aluminum s1w style tank for the x1 with a shorty tail.

I think I'll just Black everything out like the tail and swing arm though.
