Had the controls off, got the CF Chin Fairing w/ mounting kit for a very reasonable price from St.Paul HD - it was kind of a pain!

Make sure you keep that clutch cable off of the CF.
My stock X1 chin fairing chafed there despite the factory putting clear slippy tape over that area.

So.... it's contacting the header in front, if ever so slightly- is this OK, or do I need to jostle it around a little bit?
