The 27 tooth sprocket is stock on all S1, S3, X1, and M2 models. The S2 come with the 29 tooth.

So, any Sportster front pulley that fits 1994 to 2003, it should fit Buell M2. The 28 tooth are widely available for Sportsters of that era, to reduce vibration on the highway. The stock US M2 is 27 T.

XB front pulleys probably fit too, but not confirmed yet with direct experience...

Heres
Another pulley question
I had a 29 sitting here thiught it was from a sportster never thought to compare it until now and I am putting it on.
It has the raised flange on the inside not the outside and sppears to be 1 1/4 wide any idea what it came off as it obviously was not sold to me correctly?

That sounds like a big twin pulley. They were stock 30 tooth on the Evo engines with the same splines as the 90s sportsters but the belts were thicker in the early 90s on the big twins 1-1/8

I ordered a 28 tooth 03 pulley kit. For whatever reason the locking plate broke at the bolt thru hole. Thought I dropped another tranny gear. The locking plate and locknut were toast but the shaft is good thank goodness. Hope to have her back up this week. With parts becoming more and more scarce as well as good useable info I'd like to get a parts manual for my m2. Anyone have any leads on where to go?
