After years of looking and admiring Buells, I just purchased a '96 S2T. Not perfect, by any means, but pretty much original. The bike is purpleish in color. Being new to Buelldom, is there a good good source for parts or should I just start calling HD dealers? The first order at hand is to check the isolator mounts. I've owned two Harleys, so I know the v-twin shake, but it seems buzzy. I'd feel better knowing everything is ok and fixing it if not. I also need to set the suspension up for me, as I'm a good 85 or so lbs lighter than the previous owner. |

Welcome to the club, they are great bikes for sure. Save your time calling dealers, mostly useless unless you are looking for engine parts.. Post up pix of that Parkway Blue S2T |

Lance at St Paul HD for parts. He has/had front & rear isolators. Research part numbers yourself if you venture into your local HD. Most local HD parts guys glaze over even if you just want a carb rebuild kit for a '95 XL1200. DAve |

Hey, thanks a bunch for all the replys! The bike is #208. It came with both the shallow and the deep panniers, however the one shallow has a hole the top and one deep has a little bit of rash from a latch failure. The bike has a SuperTrap exhaust and also came when the stock unit too. Also an extra rear shock was thrown in the deal. I have not had a chance to take any great pics, but here's one from the last owner.
