Am I the only one who has negative battery cable broken for no reason?
Luckily, it is slightly uphill up to 1 mile from home and it started sputtering at the very top. It was about to die and I immediately turned back at the top, barely gliding to home.
It is not part of the safety recall 0811 but at least the part number is the same(70461-67B).
My S2 is one of the very earliest productions(built in Mar/94, no typo here IIRC), last four digits are 3051(even VIN system is different, IIRC, it starts with something like ..BR...)

One part broke every day...
Sometimes, more than two broke...

Do you have stock cables or the later ones? Don Casto's S2 info:

Stock one(70461-67B). But part book shows different number.
I guess they used this problematic part on very early production S2, and shortly thereafter changed to the part which part book shows.
I will load a pic later this weekend.

Thunderbolts are great scooters but you must keep a wrench on them. T

Broken cable connector:

Mine broke at 25 k miles.
Check yours and replace it if it's 70461-67B.
