What obstacles will I have to deal with to run XB wheels on an X1?
I know the calipers and rotors are different. Will the calipers bolt up to an X1 fork?

I think it would be much easier to mount XB forks to your X1 -- I have no idea how close/far away the sterring stem dimensions are from X1 to XB, but it's gotta be easier than trying to mount an XB caliper to an X1 fork

Those wheels work really well on that 'old' Buell. They look great Thirteen but you already knew that!

Nice look to those wheels. Can't wait to read the details of the conversion.

Also am wondering how they effect handling as I believe the geometry and ergo's of the tubers differ (greatly???) from the XB's.

I agree it is a FANTASTIC looking bike, but unfortunately it is not mine and I do not know much about the details of the modifications (other than what the eye can see). The owner is a fellow badwebber, so if you search the profiles for reinhart, hopefully he can shed some light on what it took to perform the swap.

you'll have to get triple trees forks wheels rotors the whole nine yards. you'll need the whole front end off the XB you're better off buying the kit that they have out there it'll be cheaper than buyinh the whole front end i know you can get it from hal's hd in new berlin for 1,700 it mounts right to the tube frame front end and it has dual primeriter brakes mounted on the stock wheels.
