Sounds like a good idea, any pictures? So if I've got it right, you're flushing out the old oil with new oil, similar to bleeding brakes and waiting for the new oil to push out the old?

How fast does the oil pump through when you're running it?

Most guys who are interested in being that complete simply change the oil, remove the return line from the oil tank, start the bike and run it until the dirty oil is purged and then shut it down. Zero cost, same effect.

Thanks ralph good idea for those of us with a bike with easy access to the tank fitting. Unfortunately I have a carbon tail tidy that takes about 45 mins to take off and put back on by the time all lights are disconnected. Also, if doing it your way one has to be very careful not to fill to the level of the return line fitting or you will have a bit of a mess to clean up (especially if you're using the side stand rather than a paddock stand)
