What left and right controls are compatible with the tubes?

Depends on what year and how much work you want to do. I'm putting xb controls on a S2T. I think there's 3 different version that came on the tubers.

From what I've gathered, all of the tuber controls are compatible, and the xb controls work but the wiring is a different length due to the plugs being hidden in different parts of the bike, so you might have to lengthen/shorten some wires depending on what you're doing. X1 controls ate the newer xb style, only shouldnt require any kind of modification to fit on an older s1/m2. That's all just stuff I've read on here, not personal experience, so take it for what it is.

Blast uses the XB plugs, so I don't think the XB stuff will work without rewiring.}

I wonder if the pins in the plugs are the same size, that you could just move more the plugs without having to solder anything.

Early handle bar controls and later x1 /xb have different connectors.
The earlier ones (s2/s1) have round pins and the later (x1/xb) have flat square pins.

The controls themselves with the blinker switch, kill switch , high beam ect... Came from the 90s Kawasaki 250 ninja . I'm not sure if the plugs are the same but I would think they are.

I just picked up a new set of controls/switches from 1125. The plugs definitely look different(smaller black plugs with flat pins). I'll definitely need to cut the plugs and solder everything back together but I think that'll be minimal work for a new set of buell switches on the S1. When they come I the mail and I get some time to mess with it I'll see how long the wires are and if all the colors match up, or if they're completely different.

If you decide to sell the S1 control/switches
Or what is left of them.
Could you let me know?
Thanks

This guy carries al kinds of connectors for motorcycles. I've used plenty of his stuff, good quality if you want to adapt the controls to different connectors.

Loose1, keep in mind you will have to switch from a TSM to a relay setup to use turn signals with XB controls instead of the HD cotrols, besides the obvious 1" to 7/8" handlebar conversion. Did you end up with my old modified WesTek clip ons with stepped handlebars?

That's a great link, I'll have to take a better look at the plugs on my controls and see if he has something that matches up, or at the very least see if he sells pins that would fit so I can try to pull the plugs off of the old ones and just fit different pins on the new controls. Then I couldn't even have start cutting up the wiring on my original controls. Need to check the wiring length too. Good chance the wires on the new ones will need extended anyway.

Phelan, I've got everything done except the flasher wiring. I build my own handle bars. Now that snowmobile racing's done I can get back on that project. I'll be updating my thread soon.
