You're looking at $3,500 +/- $1,000.

And at that price, you are getting into "high milage but well working" uly territory. Just watch the 07's, they had a batch of bad cranks from HD.

The ST3 is really cool, and really unusual, and works well and is easy to fix when they break. The Uly does more better and probably needs less fixing, but will be a little harder to maintain when it does need work.

I would say Courts numbers are a good estimate, I have considered selling mine and I would probably like to get on the high side of Courts estimate. Just realized that is 40,000 miles at those miles I would say more towards the lower end of Courts numbers.

Hey folks, Buell made an S3 and S3T.

Ducati made an ST3.

Yer killing me.

Pontlee, considering where you are, that was a good price. However, here in the US, Buells sell for much less.

Don't take this the wrong way, I miss my old M2 every day. But at 40k, the odds are good that a tuber has probably already been rebuilt. Which usually makes it much better than new.

I paid $3500 for my 2000 S3T with ~5k miles on it (now closer to 40k) about 5 years ago (maybe less).

Still see them going for that where I am.

I'm beginning to feel guilty about what I paid Chardaway for mine (but not quite guilty enough to send him another fistful of hundreds). I've put 35000 more miles on it since the ride home, but I wouldn't part with it for even Court's numbers.

In November I paid $2700 for a 2000 S3 with 2,700 miles. Stole it I feel like.

This is not mine but if you're shopping it seems ok. Low miles.

Williamscottrobertson...."stole it" You must have roofied the the poor guy, dropped the 2700 on the coffee table and rode away with the bike and title.

I picked up my 2000 s3t and hard cases with 15,000 miles for 3500 and thought I was getting a somewhat decent deal. That was about 4 years ago.

Well played. My hat is tipped to you.

Im apprehensive of low mileage garage queens. This one was sold by the dealership here in my home town. The guy was the second owner. It was bone stock less the VH pipe and fresh rocker box gaskets. It burped and hiccuped without a map on the pipe. I complained about that and told him about the various things that needed to be done (primary adjuster, oil pump gear, exhaust hanger/VR mount, shock was old 16.5" with SRP). He was the second owner and rode his cruisers. My first tuber so it has been a learning curve.
