Hey guys, quick couple of questions. First who of you have clip-ons on the their tuber and how do you like them? Are they too low and uncomfortable or are they just right? I would like some cross roads but they are impossible to find. Also thinking about trying some drag bars with no rise and a little back sweep. I currently have some moto bars on it now. They work well but would like something a little more "sporty". Any suggestions?
Secondly, are there any fork spring kits that you guys are useing? It would be nice to really dial in my suspension without spending thousands. I dont track the bike just a weekend corner carver. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I installed Racetech gold valve emulators and springs in my S3 and it is hard to describe how incredible the improvement is!

I think I only spent $350 - $400 dollars on it 7-8 years ago.

I love my Penske shock too, but this was an even bigger improvement - probably the best single upgrade I have made!

If you go with lower bars you may need some kind of rear sets thats how I felt on the S1.
Clubmans are a good solution

I used S2 forks and LSL clip-ons above the tree on my X1. Excellent set up if you want clip-ons.

I tried clip ons on my S1 and thought they were too low, I ended up going with the Crossroads. I would think that a set of drag bars would give you a similar riding position as a set of Crossroads.

Here are some photos of my X1 with S2 forks and LSL clip-ons.

It has a eurocomponants fairing, but it gives you an idea, the LSL clipons sitting on top of the tree are perfect (for a tuber with clip-ons)...
