I'm looking for some of the electrical pins used on the s2 hand controls. They look like molex pins but they seem longer. Anybody have a sorce for these or if the molex pins are correct?

Thanks, Matt

They are the same connectors used on the 1972~1994 HD wiring harnesses. 72038-71 and 72039-71 is think. I'm off this week and can't check my numbers.

He's good!

From my 95-96 S2/S2T parts book:

- 72039-71 is listed as PIN, single socket (which matches Matt's pic)
- 72038-71 is listed as SOCKET, single pin

Outside of an H-D dealer, I'm not aware of sources, or even the trade designation...

Any HD Shop or even aftermarket shop can order them in from Drag Specialties.

Thanks for checking my numbers.

I've got a local mc shop that i buy most of my parts from, and a fellow buell owner. He should be able to get them.

I have to get this bike back together for home coming. I think I'll be done before Brankin finishes his defender, even thou he had a two year head start.

Thanks, Matt

RD, if I get it back together I'll be; and I should. I have to finish the bag mounts, make handle bars, rewire the hand controls (this why I need the terminals), powder coat the rims, and paint the bodywork. I have a friend working on reproducing the tank decal since they are unavailable.
