Hey guys, I bought this hugger for my 95 s2 on eBay'. However, I fit it today and it's super tight, on the tire and the swingarm horizontal holes don't line up. The two vertical doesn't come down far enough to grab without rubbing the tire. I put my old beat up one back on but the differences are only subtle. Did the 96 carry a different shaped plastic fender and maybe this was an upgrade? Part no 59763-96Y.

I put a 95 fender on my 96 and had to drill one new hole, on the left side. So I don't think they are exactly the same, other than that it works fine.

I'll bet you have a recall swing arm! I think there was a slight change in bolt placement on the formed vs cut and weld arms.
If you don't want to drill it, I'll swap you the recall part for yours.

Looking at your picture and the EBAY ad, it appears it is for the steel swingarms starting at the S1.

Think you're right. Steel swingarm S1, S3 and M2.

Since that fender won't fit your 95 S2 without being modded, please shoot me a pm if you're looking to sell it.
