I'm getting ready to repaint my 1998 S1. It's molten orange. I'll need new decals after the respray. Tank Decals: I want to use the raised decals. Were the recall decals M0777.K for molten orange? If not, what is the correct part number? Flyscreen and tail decal: I found M0745.9 which is grey and white. But I think they should be nuc. blue and white. Does anyone have the parts number for that? If someone has any nos they'd like to sell, let me know. Mike | ||

Mike, I have the decals you are looking for. Let me look and see if I have multiple sets. If so, I'd be willing to sell a set. I'd like to hang on to some as spares for my molten orange/nuc blue S1W. | ||

The flyscreen and tailsection decals should be nuc blue and white, you are correct. A non S1W, non molten orange S1 would have come with the standard gray and white decals. The M0777.K tank decals are not the correct recall decals, but are close. The correct decal has white "Buell" and nuc blue "American Motorcycles" on a white background. The M0777.K decal has "American Motorcycles" in white on a black background. (Message edited by 99cyclone on November 13, 2016) |
