I've just joined, and filled out the 'modifications' section on the application, and got wondering what others had done. My 99 S3 has:
- aftermarket taller windscreen
- 'wavy' front rotor
- I use the larger H-D oil filter
- a ribbed aluminum sleeve over the filter for cooling
- rocker box breathers
- K&N air filter in carbonfibre housing
- added Buell rear cylinder fan
- an LED flood/spot light mounted on the old air cleaner support to help with night riding
- two prong trailer type connection to battery for charger (and electric vest)
- replaced signal lights with LEDs (several times)
- PO installed a Vance & Hines exhaust; I reinstalled the baffle and packing
- heat wrapped upper half of exhaust system
- PO chipped the engine
- Ventura luggage rack system and headlight protector
- weighted handlebar ends
- friction-type cruise control
- heated hand grips
- PO removed inner rear fender
- frame plugs
- cheap adjustable levers from e-Bay
- stock seat fits my butt (from sea to sea in Canada)
- H-D oil in engine; Red Line elsewhere
- most parts from American Sport Bike or St. Paul H-D

You guys?

I have a 99S3 and have, or HAD some of the same mods.
Like I used to have the VH exhaust, but now have a Force.
Buell Race CF air cleaner, got that like you do.

But then my stuff goes a bit different.

-cut and recovered seat to almost no padding and more of a 'hump' in the back

-Pingel front strap

-Rear shock replaced with a strut

-Aircompressor added

-Put a firebolt front end on it

-Pingel killswitch

-Pingel Air-to-Air shifter

-different handlebars

-Buell Torque grips

-Wiseco pistons (IIRC)

-S&S rods

-Andrews N6 cams

-Been dyno tuned by a racer up in PA, Bruce Cronenburger at Shaeffers HD

-Extended swingarm

-Wheelie Bar

-Tiger Express chain guard

-Oh yeah, running a chain now

-Autometer shift light

-got rid of a whole lot of things. Like headlights, turn signals, horn, replaced s3 dash with a single gauge one (forget which Buell its off of), etc etc etc

More mundane mods I did to mine included the updated (stronger) primary chain adjustment shoe, the improved front muffler mount, and the 2001-up shifter conversion.

Probably the best mod on my 02 S3T was to change the front sprocket from a 27 tooth to a 29 tooth.

Fireman - by his vernacular I'd assume he's in Europe. Over there 'chipped' means a tune/ecu (what I picked up from my car days reading English car mags like MAX Power etc...oh those were good rags, lots of topless ladies lol)
