Can anyone advise as to where to purchase an anti-rattle spring for the six pot Nissin sourced front brake calipers on a 1999 (and later) S3 Thunderbolt? I bought a Performance Machine spring in error; and Nissin advises me to contact my dealer - and if you fill out their 'contact us' form and send it, they respond that 'the requested page or resource could not be found.' Thanks,

Here is the part number for the 2000 M2 cyclone. Not sure if it is the same but probably is. See if a Buell H/D dealer can still get it.

Part # H0024.F1

The correct part number for the brake pad retainer clip for the front Nissin caliper aka "anti-rattle string" is H0021.F. I don't have any in stock and neither does Vintage parts. I also did a dealer search and come up with nothing. The H0024.F1 isn't a Buell number and the H0024.F is a rear anti-rattle clip.

Does anyone have the nissin caliper part number?
Is it used on other bikes perhaps?

One number is right, the other number is wrong \^(oo)^/ . It says front. I don't believe I've ever dealt with this place before and hope I'm not busting any forum rules but this part is almost unobtanium.

{link retracted}. I'm sending a PM for now. I'd hate to see 50 people jump on buying one as a spare while the OP misses out on it.

I wish I could remember where I got mine. Took me a year to find it but I was probably looking for the wrong number like the one I posted earlier. I dug that from an old post of mine I found when I started my search.

Thanks, Jim2. I'll follow up with the domestic supplier, and we'll see how it goes. First is to find my Precision Machine anti-rattle spring and try to figure out if it is different than the illustration, then order. I'll report back to the mob as to how I make out. Tucked the old 1969 Kawasaki 500 H1 Triple in for the winter today; the Buell within the next week. Thanks again, Doug
