Welding aluminum with a mig isn't that difficult ,but those welds are not always that pretty!

For tig ,you have to have a steady hand and being a tech for the fine tuning of the machine (depends on brand of welder)

And with tig welding make sure you have a good quality welding helmet/mask!

Ken, I like the new dash (incorporating the headlight mount, cleans up the loosk of the forks), good choice going with motogadget.

Finishing mock up of the dual front rotors, seat, motogadget goodies. Looking at a completion date of early June. Keep going back and forth on whether or not I'm going to paint the aluminum or leave raw.....I'm loosing sleep over it.

you should do both... polish it and then paint either the top or bottom, or have some nice airbrushing done, then clear the entire thing.

That aircleaner is going to be a real limiting factor---

Well the air cleaner has the same surface area as the okd air cleaner its just taller and less diameter so techniccly it should flow the same amount of air. This is a reg element but If the setup works I will buy a better one. If the whole aircleaner does not cut it I will make a diffrent one.

Ok
So I am down to the switches
Had Purpony make me a housing ended up not working for me and I screwed up the switches so I resized it and he made me another
Now I drilled it out threaded the new switches only to have half the seitches not function needless to say I have a temper so the switches are in a few seperate pieces through out my garage!!!
Housing is sitting there but now so frustrated that I just ordered a couple Moto gadget M Switches so I can call it done.

I will be riding this thing this year!!!!!!!

One note I am going to put in a motogadget gauge and cluster in this winter

Alright so this is where she sits. Moto gadget switches arrived what a well made item!!!!
Installed everytning back together seat mounted.
Need to do a once over and make sure I did not miss anything then just temp the shock res in place and a test riding we go!!!!!
Winter I will be makeing a better dash and light mount and have the shock res hose shortened.
