I bent the lip on the bucket a little on the lower right when I had a over sized led bulb with fan to make it fit and hold on to the ring.

Did not bend it back when I installed a normal size led bulb.

Now the darn headlight ring is stuck!
I've tried for two nights. Wore leather gloves, put masking tape on the chrome to give it more grip. Even tried prying it off with a flat head screw driver. Not budging..

I'm thinking of drilling through the screw but I don't think that will matter since it's not even budging at all.

Maybe dremel disc cutting the ring off and I may only need a new ring or bucket at worst. Don't want to damage the glass.

What do you guys suggest? How should I cut the thing?

If I cut along the groove where the bucket and the ring connect I will not hit the glass light right? Or maybe I should cut it a inch or half a inch back from that groove.

If I want to put a m2 bucket for 7" headlights will I need the brackets that attach to the forks or will my X1 headlight bracket still work with the m2 headlight? Thinking about getting the kuryakyn phase 7 headlight.

I like the look of the original big Bosch headlight so probably gonna keep it. I think I'd need the headlight fork mounts looking at the parts for the m2 bucket. I liked how bright my 2500 lm led bulb was and kinda want to do the switch to kuryakyn.

I might wait for the led that's in it to die out before I do anything. Another issue is I think the parking light is loose or not locked in so the high beam is not working with this bulb.
