I don't know what I have done wrong at this point but I can't get m rear wheel and brake caliper mounted properly, let alone get the pads and retention clips to sit in the caliper properly.

I replied the old factory 16.5 shock for the recall shock and new mount. That was the only change I made, but now I can't get the caliper to mount up properly as the brake line doesn't seem to be long enough...I don't even understand how this is possible, especially since i haven't changed the position of the adjusters on the swingerarm...

And problem number two is that I can't seem to figure out where the hell the clip that holds in the brake pads works. I can't find a proper diagram anywhere and nothing i do seems to make sense.

I anyone has a suggestion as to what the hell I'm doing wrong I would really appreciate it as I am just about done with this bike.

I'll bet you put the caliper slider in the hole instead of the slotted part of the swingarm.

I did that too!

yup, tried putting it in the hole per usual and look where it got me...But yeah, figured it out. Would have been useful if i had taken disassembly pictures 3 months ago... next time though, lol.

The manual is a good guide too.

Tried finding a manual and nothing i found was anything more useful then saying something along the lines of "mount the brake caliper bracket and insert the axel...", so yeah, not very useful material there. Even the exploded parts diagrams were not very useful, but like I said, i figured it out in the end after I walked away for a bit.
