Johnod, Ebutch, and Dhdjr the machinist was not available the past few days and I wont be able to get him the correct bracket until Monday. So...As soon as he makes them I will pick up and send out your brackets. Fyi. |

My bike has gone without one for 18 years so this wait is easy. Thank you |

Has anyone tried to mount this on their S1 yet? I am having fitment issues with that bracket. Appears to not have been bent enough or drilled in the correct spot.

Yes me too. Tried to install mine while the turkey was frying and ran into the same issue. At first the bracket was not bent enough. I bent it to ~90° and it lined up ok, now the holes don't line up |

Not sure if this batch has a special issue but when I installed mine from the first run I found it worked best to loosely fit it all together and allow the front bracket with the bolt in place to set the position of the big mount at the rear, when I went from back to front it didn't quite work.... |

Here is the alignment on mine after I bent it in a little more. I have to bend it back just a tad to be perfect. I don't know if there will be enough room on the backside of the bracket for the nut to fit if I elongate the hole.

I'll try to go from front to back tomorrow and see if that works. |

Jolly, everything is loose in the picture, only tight enough so I could take the picture. |

Interesting. the machinist used the same specs as the first batch. No issues from anyone with those. I couldn't test fit on an S1 because my bike was sold and gone. When I installed from first batch I put together loosely and made sure the front bracket was in place first then tightened down the brace around the frame. |

As I stated above, mine is loose in the picture. And no amount of looseness is going to correct the angle/hole misalignment. Damnut, looks like 90 degrees was too much of a bend? So somewhere in between existing and 90 right? |

Was going to try and install it from front to back but somehow the flat head allen screw grew some legs and disappeared. Gotta go out and get a new one. I used a 5/16-18 cap screw for now and it looks like it fits albeit a bit tight. |

Got mine in today and have test fitted it. Had to bend the metal piece a bit more ,but parts looking great and very happy with it. Thanks Jeff for making this happen! |

Had to pinch the front bracket in a vise and smack it with a hammer 2-3 times (very lightly). Then it fit like a glove.....lets call it an O.J. glove It looks great, and it really surprised me how easily I could manipulate the frame while test fitting it. I can't wait to see how different it feels while riding. That being said. You guys having fitment issues......are you on the side stand or a rear wheel stand? Mine is on a rear wheel stand at the time due to some other repairs I'm working on. With the natural frame flex I was seeing, I wouldn't be surprised to see things drastically change if it was on the side stand. No proof, just a thought. |

I banged the shit out of the bracket, got it to fit, but not like I would like it. The beveled screw doesn't fit true in its seat, if I tighten it down, one end of it will be sticking out. |
