Asb should have them. If they're not out of stock yet. If they're out I'm sure al can get you a PM part number.

"There were caliper rebuild kits for 95-97 PM front calipers, we're sold out and they are obsolete, no more at HD OR vintage parts. But they were just seals, not seals and pistons like the Nissins."

this is what I get for posting from my phone without actually following a link...

IIRC from when I did my '95's caliper...it was just a set of o-rings.

Something tells me.....

Well, I thought I had a set still. I don't. I have a spare PM caliper...and a couple bags of rotor wave washers...but out of o-rings. Sorry.

Google is your friend:

"6 piston pm caliper rebuild kit" returned a ton of hits. Top of the list:

PM offers a few 6 piston caliper rebuild kits. My contact at PM didn't know for sure what kit it takes but he thinks it uses the 0053-3902. If anyone has a caliper taken apart and can measure the pistons we can make sure this part number will work.

There should be two pistons of each size:
1-1/8"
1-1/4"
1-3/8"

H0020.05AH is the 8 piston caliper rebuild kit for XB &1125
H0020.02A8 is the 6 piston caliper rebuild kit for XB
H0020.0 is now obsolete

Thanks Lance

Here's where i got those numbers, and there are some measurements too.

But if it's the wrong part number, I have no idea if they're good?

Do you know if the obsolete part is the correct part for an S2?

The OEM front caliper rebuild kit for the PM front caliper is 44148-94Y then replaced by H0020.0. Now the H0020.0 is obsolete and no longer available from HD, American Sport Bike, or Vintage Parts. Looks like PM has the seals for the caliper once we can confirm pistons sizes.

Lance

Here's a link to individual piston part numbers and sizes.
Maybe you can check the numbers.
They're all in the first post.

I found a couple around the country and have them coming to me. I'll compare them to a PM kit and get back to you.

Thanks

While I'm waiting to find a rebuild kit for my PM brakes, I have a quick question.

Will the front caliper from an S3 work on the S2? I have a spare S3 caliper somewhere in my piles of parts

I would buy a rebuild kit for 95 S2 with PM caliper if you have one for sale. PM me details.
