How long has it been at 37 mpg?
What is it normally?
Any back firing or sneezing?
What gearing?

City driving not bad ? Even trip combined not bad. How much full throttle, how much do you weigh ,hilly, windy many factors.37 not bad for me.I ride full throttle + use same carb.If you use low octane that's bad ,don't use methanol causes poor milage

If it's a Mikuni pumper, every little twitch of the throttle will cause the accelerator pump to squirt fuel into the engine that really isn’t necessary unless you are accelerating briskly. A nice steady throttle hand is a big help in economy. Also like Ebutch said, the higher percentage of alcohol in the gas blend you are running the worse your mileage will be.
