Going to buy a new Mikuni HSR42 for the 02 Cyclone. Any one install an aftermarket carb before ? What to look for ? stock cables work ? ? same intake work ?

I installed HSR 42-18 kit everything I needed in kit in 2001.Got much more midrange and still using it on another S2 and 100,000 still is Great! Well I'm going on a ride now with my Lady friend.

You won't need cables or manifold.You get every thing need in kit.But get kit for your application. Now back to ride.

John kit comes with adapter-for air cleaner everything you need for a smooth swop.I have it on my S2 and S2t.Every thing is in Kit !!!!!!!!

Its called the Easy kit 42-11 is the number on it. Have it on all three of my Buells.
