After discovering this on the lift table after removing the oil and cover from the primary more fun ensued.  top  bottom Well what started as an oil change and some maintenance work got more involved.  I had the primary off, so now the majic 5 bolts had to be removed.  A Frantic call to 1313 to confirm a removal / not removed item and out it came! I have no clue how that got broke that is the 1st gear, the dogs lock in 4th when slid right .. So I tore into it with the trusty FSM  By the way those @#$!@#!%!@$^$@*(*#$ Snap rings will make Jesus SWEAR! so the box is all broke down on the bench waiting on snap rings and a new gear.  | ||

Repair is done and bike is together... buy extra rings if you do this.... | ||

Those snap rings are really a bitch eh? Sucks without the right tool. | ||
