I have a 96 S1 parts manual with the old HD part numbers. I've been finding when looking for parts I'm told they are no longer available. Apparently though the "old" parts were renumbered under the new Buell part numbers and then they're suddenly in stock. Is there some sort of cross reference that shows what the new Buell part number is for the old HD part number? I did a search here and found nothing. Thanks

Not all tube frame part numbers were revised when the new part numbering system was implemented.
Some are still current. Some of those that went obsolete are no longer available - but a dealer can identify those that have been superseded to a new number.

If the part number has not been superseded, ask the dealer if they can do a(n) (electronic) "parts locator" search of other dealers' inventories for you. Many obsolete parts still exist in the dealer network.

What was the part (or parts) you were looking for?
