Was the original header on an S1 White Lighting 2" or 2.5" from the factory? I have a Force exhaust on it now, but am trying to get it back the way it was originally. | ||

That's getting to be a tricky header to find. The 2.5" header was only used on the 1998 S3/S3T/S1W (if I'm not mistaken). They changed the frame design and header design starting with the FI bikes in '99. | ||

Ouch, yep, the only ones I can find for now are $500 and up... Yeesh... I have a newstock 2" if anyone is interested in a trade plus cash for a very nice 2.5 inch... | ||

tbbabb....there is one in the classifieds as we speak. I also have one that needs repair. There is a hole where the tab mounts are on the bottom. Should be a fairly simple fix with a bit of stainless steel and a welder. $200 shipped and it's yours.
