My seat is bandanna'd from the sun, and the grab strap is broken off, and it has a tear in the front and rear, and the cushion is now rock hard.

I'd love to get the thing refinished in real leather, like the leather pictured below...

maybe leather over gel, or something more comfortable than stock...

any suggestions? i dont mind shipping it out for good work, i just dont know anyone local

I've been thinking about doing something similar for my X1. There a local car upholstery shop that does good work. Anyone tried that route?
