My X1 had always had slight hesitation on throttle – noticeably less responsive than another X1 I sometimes borrow/ride. I chased this lack of responsiveness for a few years, thinking it was probably intake or some FI issue.

PO of my bike had routed breather tube up under front of gas tank, down left side of bike and out near kickstand/swingarm. I added a catch can, due to oil spattering all over left rear side. Mounted catch can on left side, using a T (hose still ran rest of way to swingarm). I hadn't added mini-breather filter, which I knew I probably should have – finally got sick of most of breather oil still coming out of tube onto bike/tire, so I replaced the exit hose with a little breather filter.

This made a world of difference! Throttle response I've always wanted seems to finally be there.

I should probably re-route breather to catch can so it's only going downhill and is shorter still (instead of up/under front of tank).

Anyway, figured I'd share in case anyone else has a similar set up.

WEll When are you are going to fix the blown crank seal thats causing the dangerous condition. Did you order new break pads? I hope you get this done soon.
