thanks all - appreciate it. I have put a lot of time into designing and making parts for the bike but its hobby i really enjoy. I love to make things custom but with a clean almost factory look to them. Ken, i have no idea how many hours i have into design and manufacturing, and don't want to think about it, haha. Ken has a pretty good list of what i have made but off the top of my head- rear pulley front pulley cover front pulley guard/engine support rearsets heel guards peg mounts shifter lever shifter mount/pivot block/ linkage brake lever rear brake reservoir mount subframe electrics tray undertail tail light housing marker plate mount headlight mount/brackets handlebar top clamp switch housings front reservoir mounts XB oil cooler mount oil pressure gauge mount shock reservoir clamps rear caliper bracket rear wheel spacers rear axle nut covers/sliders seat cowl handlebar switch wiring harness Air filter housing throttle body bracket other parts i have modified- XB triples ( top triple is shaved to remove the XB headlight mounts), machined to accept the X1 stem rear swingarm - machined the brake slot through so i can remove the rear caliper without removing the rear wheel - also shaved a few of the mounts off it. Cam cover trimmed Pegasus catch can - welded studs on it to mount it to the XB oil cooler cover Brembo rear 4 piston caliper, mounts trimmed and squared. Threaded holes removed and sleeved I have also done all the powdercoating on the entire bike, along with the paint. |

Incredible craftsmanship, attention to detail and tastefully executed all around. The tail is probably the best looking X1 tail I've seen. It's not an easy one to get right, congrats all around. AMAZING |

No- oil tank is OEM... debating about buying a metmachex aluminum tank, or replace and relocate my battery with a lithium and make an aluminum tank that sits in the stock battery location. |

You could CNC all the panels necessary for a tank and then tig weld them together. Wouldn't have to hog out a solid billet. |

guess I'm just used to the M2 style as that's what I thought you had done, knocked all the panels out and welded it up…regardless, beautiful ride displaying excellent craftsmanship. |
