hey I just noticed on a new tuber I picked up the vin on the frame doesn't match the vin on the engine? isn't that supposed to match if memory serves?

of course the memory may not!

The numbers on my M2 are different as well. That's the way it is. The motor vehicle people seemed to think it was normal.

Ok after further investigation it looks like there are just random stuff left out of the vin, like the first '4mz' is not on there but the last 6 numbers match. oops
