I have a new Corbin on my S2T, which I bought during the winter.
Put that on never having really tried the stock seat.
I found the bars seemed far away, unless I scooted forward into the crushed nuts position, that also wasn't comfortable.
So today I decided to put the stock seat on and see how that worked, also in the box, with the seat were a pair of S2T handlebars I bought on Ebay this winter, for spares.
Guess what my T has standard bars on it.
So I changed bars and seat today, but weather too bad to try it out, but it sure feels better sitting on it in the garage.

Glad you discovered this!
I have wondered about mine as well.
Can you post measurements of the rise for each type?

It's difficult to get a accurate measurement, but here's what I measured.
From top of clamp, to bottom of bar tube where it becomes "horizontal"

Short bars 2 3/8"
Tall bars 3 5/8"

Also the short bars clear the top of clamp and start to bend immediately, the tall ones have a straight section, then start to bend.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, that last bit explained it perfectly.
I apparently do have the tall bars also.

There's also a set of even lower bars that were only on the very early '95 S2 (about the first three months of production?).
