Not my intention to bash anyone or any company in this thread but thought I'd share my recent experience for anyone else who may be considering the products I wanted from Twin motorcycles(NL)-via 5-0dro
........
Short version- for my 99 S3, it took over 1 month to get my Twin shock, Galfer wave rotor, pads, and bolts for same. Arrived yesterday, and they forgot to include the C-spanner wrench which, per their web site, is supposed to be included with the shock........

Longer version-Started communicating with Sandro at 5-0dro at the end of March about wanting the above listed items. On 04/01/15, I received and paid an invoice for same. 04/01, I asked to be advised of any back order or delay and was told, Twin reportedly said the rotor was due in later that week. Several emails later with 5-0dro, on 04/28 Sandro said the items finally shipped and provided a tracking#. Items arrived 05/04, without the "included" wrench I need to adj the preload.
.......I know they're in the Netherlands so I'm not talking about the time it took to get from there to Chicago, just the 28 days it took to to fill the order and get it shipped.......For the record, communication with 5-0dro was great. Sandro was quick to respond to each of my emails and assured me he was doing all he could......
If I'd known it was gonna take over a month, I would have considered other products. Take it for what it's worth.

Just opened the box yesterday.. Haven't had a chance to install anything yet, and don't have the C wrench to adjust the preload.

Are the shocks built to order? Maybe that's why it took a month?

Nope, their basic proprietary shock without reservoir.. A lil less money and less adjustable than the Penske or worx.... I hope and expect to be happy with it, but I just wanted to let anyone else who is considering it, or the galfer brake parts, to know what kind of wait they may be in for.

I suppose you could just go to another Buell parts dealer, there are plenty of them...oh, wait..

I'm glad vtwin and American Sportbike are still there for us....I'll take a little bad.

Thanks for the objective post Tim. As I've stated in our email exchanges, this experience is not the norm. 5-0dro and Twin work hard to accurately estimate lead times and more often than not, we get it pretty close. In your case, we missed our estimate due to a hold up getting the Galfer parts and are sorry for that but I assure you that none of it was intentional.

We enjoy being a part of a company that offers parts to keep these bikes on the road and hope we'll have the opportunity to do so long into the future. We'll keep you posted via email on getting you that tool.

I have the Twin Motorcycles Shock on my S1W. I have no complaints. It performs well in a variety of conditions, twisty, straight, bumpy, smooth, two up etc. It has adequate adjustability with nice workmanship and excellent fit and finish.

BTW: My experience is under basic street conditions, no track days or anything. My chicken strips are nice and wide ; )

I for one am glad to have Twin Motorcycles on our planet.

Just want to say I've ordered some parts from Twin and had some email exchanges seeking tech info - and they were great. Shipping took a little longer, but what I expected and not an issue at all. Twin was great to do biz with. Just sayin'.

Hello.
I'm living in Germany, not too far from Twin Motorcycles
in the Netherlands.I need to say a few words about my experience with this guys.
Although it took more than a year to get my 88"
upgrade done by TM,I can say they did a very good job and they have been always very kind and helpful.
They are not the fastest, that's for sure,I can say that;but they know Buell and everything related with it better than almost any other company I dealt with during my 13 years
of Buelling. And for a good thing you sometimes have to wait. That's how life is.
These fellows love and life Buell and I really hope they keep up their excellent work as long as I'm riding my Buell.
And that will hopefully be as long as I'm able to grab a handlebar.
