When riding I' seem to get a fine mist of gas from the gas cap area, I can see the dried spots on the gauge faces , and sometimes a small drop, on top of cap. Anyone have an idea what causes this and how to fix it? I've already installed a new rubber funnel like piece and used a sealant around that as well. | ||

How does the vent tube route? Al sells new gas cap seals. | ||

Routes forward and under the tank, seems to drop down around front of oil tank. Could be gas cap seal I guess, I'll check. | ||

Is the cap seating all the way I had to tighten one of mine to make it seat tighter | ||

Pretty sure the cap is well seated. | ||

A new/used tank, a wood rasp, and some sand paper have solved the problem. |
