I did a search for "bubbled paint" and came up with http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/610579.html but then I did the same searched again and it came up with a different 1st article. I sometimes have a hard time finding info on the search engine... there is so much info... maybe we need a "101" class on navigating this site.

I figured out what searches I did,
<> "paint bubbles"
<> "bubbled paint"
Completely different results.
Live and Learn. Sounds like you may need to do your paint job after the riding season to give it a good cure time. Good Luck!

Repaint, then allow extended duration cure time. No fuel in the tank until you can't smell a trace of "new paint" smell.
Then wait until your dog can't smell it too.
Then maybe wait a little longer. That's what has kept mine from bubbling when painted in '06.
