Ive been noticing a little oil shine on my cylinder/ frame/ battery and have come to the conclusion that the lower rocker cover gasket is seeping. Ive looked around and have seen many threads on the XB conversion but Im just not sure if its worth the 200 + $$.

If you have a part number for the gasket itself (99 X1) that would be greatly appreciated. Also if you guys think I should do the conversion just hit me up with the pros/cons and we'll see if I can justify it.

Thanks guys

I just did the XB conversion and it was $230 in parts+ gaskets from the the dealer...but that only replaces the top and middle covers...Doesn't involve doing the bottom gasket unless you choose to pull the bottom rocker from the head.
