Ok I have a 99 x1,still trying to find a air cleaner. I like tube with cone sticking out just trying to find one that will not break the bank, and or my options on different ones. I know the Harleys fit, but since it's fuel injected.I do not know what year sportys should I search for? Also fuel management what are my options? will the ecm spy be enough? do I still need to get a fuel management installed as well?

For the air cleaner I recommend the XR1 from Force along with an external breather kit. For tuning all you need to do is re-map your stock ecm to race ecm specs using ecm spy.

If you need help with this feel free to e-mail me:

As an owner of one of those for over 75,000 miles, I suggest connecting the breather hose to a catch can as the original arrangement condenses the babysnot out on the bottom of the filter and on your right boot.

The aluminum breather hoses look sweet but act as a still and condense out the oily water vapor. This problem is made worse by having the outlet go under the throttle body.
