Author Message   S2forever Posted on Monday, January 12, 2015 - 11:55 am:        Well I have got 4 noise sources from front area. 1 identified 3 still mysterious; 1. Galling noise for the first a few miles after every launch: Identified to be mudguard rubbing on the front tyre. Why only for the first a few miles? My first a few miles are semi-dirt road and small rock chips entangled between mudguard and tyre. Took 2~3 years to figure out. 2. Rattling noise that I suspect is from brake pads. This is being discussed on another thread. 3. Periodic squeaking noise about a Hertz when going slow. Really mysterious. 4. This is the loudest noise from front area heard when front brake is engaged at signal stop. I will try to track down all of them this winter and let you know.
