Awesome that the seller got that much for one with a blowed motor - but I would be surprised if it makes it back on the road as a S3. Probably another Mutant Zombie Apocalypse victim

I have a pretty complete 2000 S3 basket case project. Engine is together and not blowed up. Frame is freshly powder coated. If you want to make the drive to NoCal, I'd cut you a sweet deal and recover several square feet of my garage - would be cheaper than that one was and a quicker/cheaper path to getting her back on the road.
